70s Tooled Leather Shoulder Bag Mexican Aztec Motif by National Bags
Rectangular body that sits on a base and has an adjustable, matching shoulder strap, this beauty closes with a front flap featuring a brass turn clasp. The flap covers a raised pocket that closes with a zipper. The entire exterior is in tooled leather featuring motifs from ancient Mexico, most notably a version of the round Aztec calendar motif on the front flap. Note the black leather braiding around the front pocket, and along the perimeter throughout. Interior folds out into three compartments: a front area, a central section that closes with a zipper at the top, and a rear section that has a slit pocket.
Front right side, just under the flap bears the label stamp:

Condition: very good except that the strap and edges shows some wear as is normal for a piece that is around half a century old.
